Project Visits

  • Purpose of the project visits is to give the international and local participants a rough indication of the current ICT situation in Timor-Leste. Besides visits to NGO IT Centres, organizes are proposing to organise visits to Timor Telecom, IT Centre of the National University and Dili Institute of Technology. Short briefings will be done at each centre.
  • International participant's will be given a choice of centres to visit, they must indicate to forum organizer which 2 centres they would like to visit prior to their arrival in Timor-Leste. The same process will apply to local delegates.
  • The project visit will also provide an opportunity for icebreaking between international and local participants.
